Top ten tips to prevent back pain :)

 

  1. Limit total sitting time/Move around: The discs in your lower spine are loaded more while sitting than standing; so long periods of sitting can create or aggravate a painful back condition or while sitting or standing, don’t stay motionless for long; move around periodically. Standing continuously pressurises your spine.
  2. Maintain a healthy weight and do back exercises:  Exercise, along with a healthy diet, also helps you lose weight or maintain a healthy weight. Being overweight or obese, or quickly gaining a significant amount of weight, are risk factors for low back pain do back and abdomen-strengthening exercises, per day or  during your workout routine for a more flexible, stronger back. Ex. Quadruped dumbbell row, lat pulldown,  Wide dumbbell row, Hyperextension.
  3. Pillow under the knees: Sleeping on your back pressurizes the spine. A pillow under your knees reduces 50% of the pressure by elevating the legs. Or sleep on either side.
  4. Maintain proper posture: Bad posture stresses your back, even changing the spine’s architecture. Standing or sitting, don’t slouch, but keep shoulders straight.
  5. Support your back: In an office chair or the car, sit erect with a cushion under your lower back for support, if required.

  6. Your shoes need to support your spine. Whether you're walking for exercise or just to get where you're going, the shoes you wear play an important role in supporting your lower back. High-heel shoes are another cause of back pain. Wear heels of less than an inch.
  7. Reduce the load: Heavy bags are bad for the back. Reduce their weight or keep shifting from one shoulder to the other. Use a trolley/bag with wheels, if possible.
  8. Increase Vitamin D and calcium intake: Bone pain and lower back pain may be signs of inadequate calcium and vitamin D levels in the blood and also lack of calcium can also lead to osteoporosis.
  9. Enjoy the benefits of massage. A good back massage has a number of therapeutic benefits, such as increasing blood flow, loosening tight muscles and connective tissues, and boosting feelings of relaxation.

               10. .Stop smoking: Nicotine curbs blood flow to the spinal discs, cracking, drying or rupturing them. Smoking also lowers the blood’s oxygen supply, reducing nourishment to back muscles and tendons, making them vulnerable.

Neuralgia is a stabbing, blazing, and often severe pain due to an irritated or damaged nerve.

The nerve may be anywhere in the body and the damage may be caused by several things, including:

Diseases such as diabetes

or multiple sclerosis

Demyelination, stress, compression of nerve roots

An infection, such as shingles

Tumors or multiple sclerosis

1] Post herpetic neuralgia:

This type of neuralgia occurs as a complication of shingles and may be anywhere on the body.

2] Trigeminal neuralgia :

This type of neuralgia is associated with pain from the trigeminal nerve, which travels from the brain and branches to different parts of the face.

3] Glossopharyngeal neuralgia :

Pain from the glossopharyngeal nerve, which is in the throat, is not very common But, This type of neuralgia produces pain in the neck and throat.

               However,  the B vitamins alone, B1, B6, and B12 together, beneficial effect in the care of pain including neuropathic face pain, and which are an important component of nerve regeneration and repair, and their effects on pain.   And also B vitamins are useful in treating neuropathy since they support healthy nervous system function.

Street's : A Health Hazard

 

                    The World Health Organization declared the outbreak a pandemic in March and it has spread to more than 200 countries, with severe public health and economic consequences.

And also PPE production has surged in recent months as health care providers have collectively brought millions of items to stop the spread of novel corona virus among their staff and all.

From the first moment people began to wear gloves and masks, we’ve also began to see them at streets. The problem is in how people use and dispose of their waste.

Because, face masks and plastic gloves have become must-have items when people go out in public during the corona virus pandemic.  Personal protective equipment may keep humans safe, but that is after being used, some of that personal protective equipment's are being dumped on the streets, it’s proving destructive to the environment.

And also masks and gloves are increasingly becoming common street trash, as Governments don them as safety precautions against COVID-19 and then discard them by the curb.



           The PPE is intended to help us fight a public health challenge, not create a plastic pollution problem. Much of the PPE used around the world is single-use by design and can contain a wide range of different plastics, from polypropylene and polyethylene in face mask and that of latex and vinyl in hand gloves.

To make matters worse, the PPE litter is more hazardous than normal garbage, as it has a higher risk of spreading the novel corona virus. Populations and governments are the only ones that can stop this, we need to option for products that are more ecological and sustainable and prohibit the use of single-use plastic.  

            We can make it possible to stop the spread of COVID-19 by doing the right lawful thing by throwing these items in the trash or dispose them properly.

Everyone in the normal life prefers Over the Counter (OTC) medication for any type illness; it may be small or big. Rather than this if, you are taking Aspirin for general body ache or fever then, pay “attention”
As, Aspirin marks the presence anti-inflammatory properties that helps to make blood sleazy. Hence some of the people use this drug to prevent stroke and heart disease.
But some researcher’s warned to avoid uses of this medication and as per the opinion of some researcher’s patients having stroke and heart related problems if continuously using Aspirin may have increased chances of bleeding in the brain.
After this research American college of cardiology and Heart Association changes the user guidelines for the drug Aspirin. As per the American Heart association don’t take Aspirin regularly without permission of medical practitioner.

Research says those patient who are taking Aspirin to prevent heart attack or stroke have faced the problem of bleeding in the brain.
Before this study on an average, one lakh thirty thousand people of an age group of 42 to 74 years old suggests that those people who take Aspirin as a low dose regularly developed and their chances of bleeding in the brain increased by 0.63 %
Research says people's in the Asian countries who have BMI 25 or more than that are likely to have more chances of bleeding in the brain. And also Overaged peoples have more chances of developing clots in the blood; hence some of the doctors prefer Aspirin in order to make blood sleazy.
        These analysts warned youngsters and also people's over age group of 45 years, who are prone to develop heart related disorders must have to be very cautious during the use of Aspirin. Beside this if you are taking Aspirin without prescription then it may turns fetal to your brain or body.   
      Because brain bleeding is a very serious illness and even some times it may be cut throat.

           World is facing pandemic disease and it cost death's of humankind if you don't want to be one of them , and even you smoke then it's better to quit smoking because.
              Peoples who are addicted to smoking are more prone to the risk of developing pulmonary disease. However precaution is a key now a day but smokers should take it more seriously, because corona virus can easily entangle such people.
     Study claims that peoples who are suffering from lungs related illness such as COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and are still smoking are at higher risk of developing corona virus infection.
Smokers and individuals with COPD have increased expression of ACE-2 enzyme, which is the entry receptor for the covid-19 virus.
As per the report published by “UROPIAN RESPIRATORY” journal those people who quit smoking have less chaffy of ACE-2, as compared to those who are currently smoking.
As we saw the relation of smoking and corona virus was direct, so if someone who quit smoking at present is less vulnerable to corona virus infection.
This may explains the increased risk of severe Covid-19 in these sub population and highlights the importance of smoking cessation.
                            Thus scientists have clear opinion regarding smoking and corona virus infection.
